This webinar is designed to provide an improved understanding of tooth and root morphology. It will discuss access cavity design and will emphasise that a well-designed access cavity facilitates location of the root canals. Once located, the initial steps in securing the canal prior to instrumentation will be examined. This will include preparation of a glide path and prevention of canal blockage. Dr Tait will put an emphasis on canal preparation using rotary endodontic files, specifically the ProTaper Next system, and will discuss the advantages and benefits of this system and how it can be used to create predictable canal shapes even in more challenging cases.
