Composite is a restorative material we use daily, but for some composite success is elusive and others overlook its many uses. This CE webinar will illustrate the value of the versatility of composite as a restorative material and as a direct restorative option for filling cavities to an aesthetic material that can change lives in appearance and function. We will begin by discussing why composite shrinkage, depth of cure, and interproximal contours and contacts are a concern with multi-surface posterior restorations, and how to overcome each of these. Bleeding and isolation have been a challenge in the past, but there are easy solutions you’ll want to know. Learn how to avoid sensitivity when etching or if you need to do so. We will explore easy techniques of diastema closure, prototyping and composite veneers, and finish discussing occlusion issues that may be controlled by anterior and posterior additive techniques and show how we know it can work. |
